The Roadhouse Diner is the best burger joint around – and we’re looking for a wicked-fast full-time busser who can clean tables, bus dishes and assist the disher during slow periods to add to our dream team that keeps us on top! The Roadhouse employees are friendly, respectful and we all work most shifts with each other – the owners are at the diner from open to close. No drama here – just people who enjoy making customers happy with food and great service, and we’re looking for someone who will fit in to that philosophy.

Shifts are from Wednesday through Saturday (11:30-8:30pm) and Sundays (9:30am-3:30pm). This is a full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week, plus overtime pay when going over 40 hours. This is the sole position for the busser, so we rely on this person to show up for work in a timely fashion as there is no one to cover this duty.

We are looking for a great busser who’s fast, thorough and efficient to reinforce our philosophy of serving fresh, quality food and dedication to our high standards of service and hospitality. The Roadhouse Diner is very busy, we are looking for someone who can keep up the pace and know when to kick it into high gear, help the waitstaff turn tables and keep everything clean and tidy.

Responsible for memorizing the seating chart, cleaning/sanitizing tables after customers leave, removing dishes and scraping food into the trash, general clean-up such as bathroom cleaning, mopping, sweeping, understanding strict sanitary rules in all areas of the restaurant and assisting the disher with doing dishes and operating the dish machine when the disher is not present. Must be able to lift heavy bus bins. Must be fast and efficient. Must be able to use both hands while working. This is very important.

Previous experience helpful but not required. New hires are subject to a probationary period.

Black pants (not jeans) are required, as well non-slip shoes. Work t-shirts and hat are provided at a minimal cost.

Compensation: $9.00/hour
