Title Prep Cook

The Roadhouse Diner is looking for a part-time prep cook for Friday and Saturday service (10pm-5pm each day) – approximately 15 hours per week. We are looking for team members that can exemplify our philosophy of serving fresh, quality food and dedication to our high standards of service and hospitality.

We are looking for an efficient individual who has can keep up with the fast pace of the restaurant, but also maintain our standards of cleanliness. Must be dependable, professional, be able to maintain our standards, take pride in work and work in an environment with others who take pride in the food we create. Responsible for prepping food and stocking the line, preparing foods, vegetables, etc – operating the dish machine, sanitizing equipment and workstations, general clean-up, etc. Knife skills and an understanding of consistency in food preparation are required.Prior experience in food preparation in a commercial kitchen required.

Black pants are required, as well non-slip shoes. Work shirts and hat are provided at a minimal cost.

Servers/Waitstaff will guide guests through breakfast and lunch menus while demonstrating knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients. Taking accurate orders, and self-expediting food that meets the high standards of the establishment. We are looking for friendly and attentive servers/waitstaff that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return. Employees are expected understand basic social media platforms, as well as the importance of promoting our customers to engage websites to give their review of their experience at the Roadhouse Diner.
